The last few episodes have featured wonderful, strong women coaches as guests, and each has had their own journey of being authentic and brave. Today’s episode is more about my journey recently with a traumatic experience and how despite knowing the so called things to do correctly, it still can impact everything.

This is going to be a bit of a personal one for me, and I want to say that there may be triggers in this show, and if it’s too much, please do take care of yourself first. You’ll hear how very recently my son Nolan got hit upside the head with a golf club by accident, and I reveal the extreme fear and trauma I experienced from this event, and the positive impact that asking for help ultimately had on me.
Remember, trauma can happen to any of us and it can take over our nervous system when we least expect it. It’s ok to stop and to take care of yourself, as I had to do over the past week.
If you or someone you love has experienced trauma, please make sure to reach out and get help. Healing is possible, and you don’t have to go through it alone.
