10: 7 Types of Rest

This week is all about rest. And no, just not about naps (but wouldn't that be glorious too?). Have you ever felt bone tired? Or just totally spent? Do you know that's partially because you aren't getting enough rest. There are 7 types of rest!? Who knew? Not me! Join me as I dive into these a bit more (and then let's all go take a nap!)

This week I’m coming to you from Southern California, where I’m visiting my family and getting some much needed rest while honoring some downtime.

This time with family has helped me to slow down and connect with them and to myself, by just enjoying rest in several different ways. It also got me thinking, why is it so hard to rest? 

Did you know that there are actually 7 types of rest? I want to share them with you today, and I hope that you will take some time to consider resting. Give yourself permission to take care of yourself. No guilt. No judgment. Just rest.
